This retro themed collage layers a collection of photographs I have taken from old pinball machines, arcade games and computers from photos of graphics from the 50's to the 90's. Boys certainly love their toys whatever their age, and I am sure you will have fond memories of playing some of the games you can see in this collage. Great for a rumpus, man cave or games room !

Each collage is made up from hundreds of layers of textures and content. Popular Resene paint colours have also been integrated into the compositions to compliment many colour schemes. When the unique, imperfect and quickly hand-painted words are bought together in a structured & layered composition, it is only then that we see the beauty in the inadvertent ‘drybrushing', layering, rubbing back, painting over, and completely free & practical expression of these sign boards - ironically, these are many of the techniques that artists use today.
