Clark Bardsley Design (CBD) creates high quality contemporary work, with a materials focused, observation led approach to objects and spaces.

Clark studied industrial design at Victoria University in Wellington. His first job as a designer for Auckland based brass-ware brand Methven saw him introduced to the opportunities and constraints of product design for mass production. This experience put him in good stead for a new role in London as senior designer for eminent British cross-disciplinary studio PearsonLloyd.

Eventually returning to New Zealand in 2013, Clark now applies his approach to a variety of roles, as director of his own business Clark Bardsley Design Ltd (CBD), as a designer for ALT Group and a casual lecturer in industrial design at AUT.
